Ryan turned the big 30 on October 31. Lauren gave him a Surprise Party on Saturday. The biggest surprise for him was when he saw his mom was there. A quick trip to Colorado. The look on his face was worth the price of any plane ticket.
A very happy guy greets his mother as a pleased girlfriend looks on.
Cindy & Emily were reunited however briefly in May when we traveled to Emily's Oregon home. Most importantly, now mom has seen for herself where her "little girl" lives and works. A must for parents.
Bill and Beth have a busy household. Always something going on and full of the wonderful sounds of children. They are great parents and their boys are fortunate to have them.
Grandma's house is a good place to be. She loves to play with the boys and reads to them often.
Sam seems to be content, afterall, if you have your "pipe" and Grandma to walk you around to see the tick-tocks, what else is there. Grandma looks happy too.
Sam. It's still all pretty new to this guy. There is not much he misses from his easy chair. Brother TJ shows him most of the ropes and it won't be long and he'll create his own trouble. For now he is content to watch and smile. What a life.
Christmas has much more commotion and noise since we have added grandchildren....and much more fun too. TJ seems to understand the humor in the whole thing, Owen is intrigued with the camera and Sam, well I'll bet this was the last Christmas that he will sleep through.
Take a little quiet time each day. Reflect on all you have and the opportunities set before you, and give thanks. Solitude and quiet are great gifts from God. Know your self, your strengths and your weakness. You are unique, and for that reason you are a gift to the world. swb '07
